Martin Scorsese

The famous director whose full name is Martin Marcantonio Luciano Scorsese was born on November 17, 1942.
Coming from an Italian-American family, Martin Scorsese’s acquaintance with cinema began in 1960 when he entered the New York University cinema department as a student. After graduating from the cinema department in 1964, he received his master’s degree in cinema in 1966 from the same university.
The director, who started his film career in 1959, continues to work actively in the field of cinema today.
